30 Days Without Social Media: The Shocking Impact on My Mental Health
Digital Detox: Unplugging from Social Media
The decision to go 30 days without social media was not an easy one.
For many of us, it’s hard to imagine a day without checking our feeds. But there’s a downside. A lot of young people are feeling more stressed, lonely, and distracted because of too much screen time. It’s a real problem that we can’t ignore.
I had also noticed a decline in my mental well-being. I felt more anxious, less focused, and constantly overwhelmed.
So, I decided to take a break and see what would happen.
And guess what? It made a huge difference in my life.
In this post, I’ll share the top 7 good things that came out of my 30-day break. Maybe it’ll make you think about your own social media habits too.
1. Increased Focus and Productivity
Without the constant distractions of social media, I found myself more focused on tasks. I completed projects faster and with better quality. The hours in my day seemed to stretch longer, and I accomplished more than I had in months.
- Set specific times during the day to check social media, rather than doing it sporadically.
